Where is Vertical Freediving?

Vertical Freediving is located at Moll de la Vela 1, inside Port Fòrum in Barcelona. This modern and quiet waterfront area is designed for sports and recreational activities, with direct access to the sea and facilities that make the experience more comfortable, such as changing rooms and open spaces for resting and socialising. Just a few minutes away you’ll find landmarks like the photovoltaic platform and the Fòrum saltwater pools, which complement the training environment. Its proximity to the city and excellent public transport links make this port area a strategic spot for freediving athletes looking to combine quality with convenience.

How to get to Vertical Freediving?

Public transport (metro and tram)

  1. Get off at El Maresme | Fòrum station (L4 metro) or at the T4 Fòrum tram stop.
  2. Walk towards the sea, crossing Parc del Fòrum.
  3. Continue straight until you reach the main gate that leads into the port area.
  4. Along the way you’ll pass buildings such as the Natural Science Museum and green spaces that make the walk pleasant.

On foot or by bike

  1. From the Fòrum area, cross the park on foot or by bike.
  2. The pedestrian entrance (gate) is open until 10:00 PM for easy access.
  3. After passing the large photovoltaic platform, you’ll find Vertical Freediving on your left, by the sea, in a setting surrounded by nature and modernity.

By car or motorbike

  1. Enter through the main gate of Port Fòrum.
  2. Follow the internal route along the photovoltaic panel structures.
  3. There are nearby parking areas where you can leave your vehicle and walk easily to the centre’s entrance.

If entering through another entrance

  1. If you enter through the port canteen, continue along the green path past a ship under repair.
  2. Go under the bridge and keep straight until you reach Vertical Freediving.
  3. If this entrance gate is closed, return to the main gate to avoid any inconvenience.
